After the success of the first John Paul II Film Festival, organizers are now preparing for the second such event, scheduled for February 2011.

The American production company 7eventhDay Media Inc. started this initiative last year as a way to promote values, as expressed by John Paul II in strengthening faith through art.

The second edition of the film festival will be dedicated to the 'mystery of love’. The festival will present features, documentaries and short films on the theme and areas such as human dignity, mutual respect and forgiveness.

The festival will take place from February 17th to 26th, 2011, in Miami, Florida.

The organizers of the festival are convinced that more than ever there’s a need for cinematic artwork highlighting the true dignity of the human person.
