A vial of blood of the former Pope, a wax figure to his likeness and several personal objects have been in display in different Mexican cities until December. The relics of Bl. Pope John Paul II recently were in San Luis Potosi, and are slowly making their way back to Mexico City.

After the beatification of Pope John Paul II, Mexico,  who is the second nation with the largest number of Catholics in the world, petitioned the Vatican for the opportunity to bring the relics closer to the thousands of Mexicans who loved the former Pope.
