John Paul II Foundation of New Jersey
On January 22, 2015 in Washington D.C., the capital of the United States, took place the 42nd annual March for Life organized on the anniversary of the court decision legalizing abortion (Roe vs Wade). This march provided another chance to manifest disagreement with the “law” that allows to kill unborn children. Among participants – private people as well as various organizations – there were representatives of the John Paul II Foundation, New Jersey Chapter. Knowing that John Paul II was a huge and uncompromising defendant of life of unborn children, we did not have any doubts that we have to join this march which unites many different people who have the same goal.
Thanks to kindness of the Knights of Columbus, who are active at the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church in Linden (NJ), we were able to use a special charter bus. Even though it was a normal working day, we had a group so big that it filled out the bus and we went to participate in the March for Life.
On October 22nd, there was the 35th anniversary of the inauguration of the pontificate which is also the day on which the Church celebrates liturgical remembrance of John Paul II.
Additional date, especially important for all who are serving at the Foundation, is October 16th, when Pope John Paul II established our Foundation which bears His name.
The John Paul II Foundation New Jersey Chapter fulfilling the need to honor such important events in cooperation with members of the Holy Rosary Parish organized a tribute vigil for John Paul II.
The prayer vigil took place on October 19th, 2013 at the Holy Rosary Church, which last year was elevated to the rank of the Blessed John Paul II Sanctuary.
Dear Members and Friends of the John Paul II Foundation, New Jersey Chapter,
